My gender and sexuality mean my existence in Qatar would come with great fear for my safety. I cannot and will not put my friends and family through this. My fear is too great and beats my love and determination to support England.

I won’t go to Qatar because of the retentionist death penalty for actions considered legal in most of the rest of the world, the inhumane conditions for women & girls, the illegality of LGBTQ+, so many deaths of workers building the football stadiums and the conditions for workers under the Kafala system.

As a queer woman who has just come back as a season ticket holder in the last six years I really wanted to experience a World Cup. Being as it is in Qatar where I am perceived as an abomination and a second-class citizen, my friends and family were more than concerned that I would be travelling to a country where I would be a target.

Much wider issue is that it isn’t only about LGBT+ inclusion but human rights as a whole.

I've wrestled with the concerns of friends and family alongside my own fears around my safety if I were to travel to Qatar. I cannot shake off the feeling that my sexuality means I would come to harm, nor can I escape thinking that any visible LGBT+ presence would lead to retaliatory attacks on the local population.

I am delighted to support the No Pride Without All campaign - it is so important to draw a spotlight to the lack of LGBT+ rights as well as wider human rights failings in Qatar. Football is a game for all and a World Cup should not be hosted in a country that does not treat all equally.

I'm fairly new to following football as a fan, with the Lionesses drawing me in at the Euros. After such a joyful and exciting women's Euros this year, it seems such a farcical and dismal event hosting the men's World Cup in a country that is so unwelcoming to LGBTQ+people. My heart goes out to local LGBTQ+ people and I hope for a future where they are free to be themselves safely.

It feels like a no brainer to support this campaign. The World Cup shouldn’t be held in a country where LGBTQ+ people, or anyone for that matter, are persecuted for who they are.

I am fortunate to live in a country where I am free to express myself, as a football fan & as part of the LGBT+ community. I don’t need to hide who I am. Many LGBT+ people around the world don't have this privilege. I feel enormous sadness when I think about people around the world just like me, LGBT+ football fans, who can’t express themselves the way they want to & live in fear. These people should be able to freely & openly be proud of who they are & that’s why there is No Pride Without All.
